Hello and welcome to my Website.

I am a time served metalworker and welder, working on a range of materials and various projects from tinplate boxes to 32 ton truck bodies in aluminium and steel. In 1986 I was introduced to woodturning and working with wood whilst working as a technician in a school.

In the mid 90's I moved to my present role as a craft instructor in Art & Design at a further education college. There my interest was reignited once again. Access was not always readily available. I decided to build my own workshop and purchase a lathe and started turning again on a regular basis. For the past few years I have been developing my own style of work.

My main focus has been developing an original design for elliptically turned wooden Grasspots. Including natural woods and manufactured woods, working with faults and knots to give a more natural outcome and finished to a professional standard.

Sizes range from 4 inches to 24 inches with a price range of £10 to £100+ which I sell in local galleries and craft fairs. Each item is entirely unique and individually numbered.

Other items include round and natural shaped bowls finished in oils for various uses. Coffee and dining tables to clients designs and choice of woods.
